Mini Break

Key West this time of year is still hot. But if you have never been to Mallory Square around sunset you have got to go and see for yourself... It is always an intriguing place to be at that time of day. People homeless or just eccentric come out of the woodwork and begin performing odd and sometimes rare talents.... Peyton enjoyed walking around for hours and seeing fire eaters and acrobats.

Celebrating the First Fall Season...

Okay, we have so many awesome friends here with little babies, and this is one of the cool experiences we get to share in together....
Peyton was a spider, and so fitting because she loves to crawl, Israel Pattison was the chicken and soooo cute he kept falling over in the little outfit, our little Hula Queen was Ellie Schartner, Judah Shapiro is so handsome in orange, and Campbell Jackson was the flower, and a cute little flower was he. I am so blessed to have friends like these, NO MATTER WHAT, I know that I will cherish these girls and these little ones always.

Up to speed....

So since we are just now starting this blog thing and she is already 8 months old, I am going to give a ittle overview of life thus far with Peyton.

First of all, she is a mover and a shaker. Here is a list of her firsts and how old she was when they occcured.....

Okay well it all started on February 26th 2008.

Her first church service was Sunday March 16th

Her first smile March 21st (not even 4 weeks old)

Holding her bottle June 10th (3.5 months).... happened with Heather Dionne at Wendy's while I ordered food.

First began scooting June 25th (1 day shy of 4 months)

Began sitting up July 25th (1 day shy of 5 months)

Her first tooth, bottom right August 7th (5 months 1 week)

Peyton began rocking on hands and knees August 16th (5.5 months)

Peyton truly crawled September 16th (6.5 months)

She started pulling up to stand September 22nd (almost 7 months)

Okay, so now we are just waiting for her to walk.... she did take one step Wednesday November 5th in John Adams office at church, but I am waiting for the real thing. We know she can stand on her own, now she must just decide she wants to walk. It seems she is growing so fast, I really can wait.

She is unique.... she has the funniest little birthmark above her but crack...

She has done so many funny things, but one of the funniest was she spent about 30 minutes one night taking dirt out of our house plant and crawling over and putting it into the guitar.... It is hard to be mad when she is so cute.

Well, right now we are enjoying this time with our little one. Although, there are new challenges in having a baby, there are also new joys.
